Lovely Little Shelf

October: To Be Read Shelf

Last month I was feeling really proud of myself.

This month, I am ecstatic.

That’s right. Just one little shelf. No overflow, nothing. I only bought 2 books this month: my presidential bio and Lola. Are you impressed? You should be!! This is the best it has looked since April!

I have no real book buying plans for this month, so I’m hoping that November’s is even more impressive.

How is your To Be Read pile looking? Have you made a significant dent this month?

Nice! I think your TBR pile books are vacationing on my shelf, though.

    1. You inspire me.
    2. I still see Freedom in that stack. Eli scared you from reading that one yet?

    Not yet! :)

I don’t know why I’m still putting it off, but I am reading a book of essays by Jonathan Franzen right now and I think that they’re pretty good. He’s a snob, but a literary snob so it’s not as bad.

I think I’ll give it a go eventually, but I am scared!

I am scared to read Freedom as well. I have had it on shelves for a while now as well. Maybe I will wait and see what you think of it before I pick it up, LOL.
