I’m celebrating today with all the Mamas in my life. Today is Isaac’s dedication at church so my mom, Shaun’s mom and both of Shaun’s grandmas are in town. After church we are all going out to eat. Coming along is our mom-away-from-home and her family. So. I’m pretty excited.
In honor of Mother’s Day, I have a couple fun little links for you:
- I frigging love 6 word memoirs. If you aren’t familiar, go check them out. Here is a special batch that are all Mom-related. Sad, sweet, scary, cute, funny. You know… all the things that moms are.
- A list of psycho moms in literature. Of course Carrie’s mom made the list (I get shivers just thinking of her!) but there are a few that I’d never heard of and will have to check out.
- And these two have nothing to do with moms. Here is a quiz a friend’s husband made that cracks me up. Take a quiz to see if you can figure out if each title is a Book or Hipster Band? While your mind is here, go look at this. Literally Every Goosebumps Book makes a Great Hipster Band Name. Hilarious because it is oh, so true. I think my favorite is “A Shocker on Shock Street.” Perfection.
