Bookish Thoughts: Book Scented Perfume

My friend Jessica alerted me to this and I just had to show you guys ;)

Fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld has a pretty sweet library.  He also owns a bookstore.  So. You know. He’s one of us.

He’s decided to make a perfume that smells like books. Seriously.

It’s going to be in a hardcover book and be called Paper Passion.  I couldn’t make this up.

My answer is hands down yes, yes, yes.

    His library… OMG. How in the world does he even FIND the books he wants to read??? Regardless, I wouldn’t mind living in that room for a couple of days.

    And book-ish perfume? Yes, please!

    I would love to smell the perfume. Not sure I’d buy it without testing it first.

    Without a doubt! My friends & family think I’m crazy, because I LOVE the smell of old books! There’s just something about them… I can’t explain it, but it makes me happy! = ) I’d love to smell this though!
