Lovely Little Shelf

Bookish Thoughts: No-Sew Kid-Friendly Bookshelves

Ok, so we are kind of having an issue in Isaac’s room.  The issue is this:  I cannot stop buying him books.

At the library sale, they are a QUARTER.  As in, for one dollar I can get him four books. FOUR.

It’s dangerous.

He’s quickly outgrown the one little shelf that I had designated for children’s books, but still I cannot stop. His room is small so I don’t really have room for another shelving unit, so I was looking around online for something and found this.  I’m in love.

Is that not amazing?  I love that it’s down at “kid level” and I’m obsessed with the fact that they are so easy to make.

I found this at I can teach my child! and it comes complete with step-by-step directions on making your own.

Now to get away from my child long enough to make him crafty things.  Hmmm… ;)

Those are so cute, and I love that you could coordinate the fabric with your childs room.

I had the same problems with not being to stop buying books for my son and ended up doing this:

So far, it has worked out really well! x
