Oh, Friday, I love you. This week has been crazy. Our church is having a big event tonight and I am catering desserts. We are expecting six hundred people. Six hundred. So I’ve been covered head-to-toe in flour for the past 5 days and I’m wore out. Not to mention that my in-laws are visiting from out of town and staying at our apartment… which is nice because they’ve been able to watch Isaac while I bake, but entertaining/feeding them is quite the little job…. So needless to say, I’m exhausted. I have to finish up all the desserts for the event tonight and then I’m crashing for the next couple of days. I think I’ve earned a weekend this time around.

I was way busy this week and didn’t really write anything life changing, but I did turn TWENTY SIX years old (meaning I’m closer to 30 than 20… eek!) and got a little pile of books from my loving husband!
I already read Room and I’m saving the other two for our vacation that’s coming up in a couple of weeks. I love new vacation books!

Happy birthday! Sounds like you’ve had a crazy week and have earned a nice weekend off. Just stopping by on the hop.
New follower here. Stopping by via the blog. Love that bookshelf too! There never seems to be enough room for books in my house even though I started ordering ebooks too. I always say there are four basic necessities of life: food, clothing, shelter and books. But not necessarily in that order!
