Library Book Sale Success!

Woohoo!  We woke up early this morning, bundled up and headed to the library book sale in a nearby town.  I got a great little stack of books…. 7 for me and 7 for Isaac (gotta be fair, huh?) and spent a whopping $8.50!  Greatest thing ever.

Isaac got:

Dr. Seuss’s ABC
The Opposites by Monique Felix (So cute… it doesn’t have any words just pictures of these cute little mice.  A great find.)
Corduroy by Don Freeman
Night, Storyland by Mark Corcoran
The Pigeon Wants a Puppy by Mo Willems
Squids will be Swuids by Jon Scieszka and Lane Smith

I got:

Revolutionary Road by Richard Yates
The Abstinence Teacher by Tom Perrotta
Year of Wonders by Geraldine Brooks
Little Black Book of Stories by A.S. Bryatt
German Boy by Wolfgang W.E. Samuel
Look Again by Lisa Scottoline
Saturday by Ian McEwan

    I’ve read Revolutionary Road and Saturday. I really liked the first – it was really engrossing and beautifully written. Saturday was ok… I have to admit i’m not a huge Ian Mcewan fan though

    ahh I love Corduroy! I read Revolutionary Road and was not a fan.

    Corduroy is my all time favourite childhood book, I bought it for my 3 year old last year :-)

    Ooh, good haul!

    Revolutionary Road is in my to read pile and I’ve heard really mixed reviews, so I’m excited to read it for myself.
