Ok, so I do like being a mom, but every snow day before this week meant TONS of reading. This week the snow days meant entertaining a 6 month old… indoors… for days on end. I’m not complaining- he’s a pretty fun little guy- but come on! I only finished 2 books. I did get to cut his shirt off of him because he filled it all the way with poop… to the point that it would have gotten in his eyes had I tried to pull it off over his head… what is reading when you have those kind of fun times?! Ha.
So. You guys don’t want to hear about Isaac’s poop. Let’s get to the blog hop.

I just have a handful of pages left in Mystic River by Dennis Lehane. I picked it up because I kind of wanted something mindless and I thought it was just kind of a cop/thriller/actiony little book. It actually is pretty awesome. It is well written and well plotted and I’ve just been blown away by how well done it is. It is also way, way suspenseful! I have maybe 50 pages left and I can’t wait to finish it up and figure out whodunit!
