Hey guys! I wasn’t really sure if I’d be able to blog over the holidays, and it turned out I couldn’t. Not only was there not a spare second, the computer at my parents house is old and slow and my husband has made me a computer snob.
Anyway, we got back late last night and just absolutely crashed. I fed Isaac while Shaun carried a car-ful of presents up the stairs and we wasted no time getting into bed. There’s no place like home for the holidays, but there is also nothing as exhausting.
Isaac’s grandmas and grandpas spoiled him absolutely rotten. I know that this is only the beginning, but oh.my.word. We are blessed beyond words.
One of his presents that he got made me crack up and I knew I had to share it with you. It’s a picture book by Lane Smith (who also did Stinky Cheese and The True Story of the Three Little Pigs) and it’s called It’s A Book. It’s totally hilarious. It’s this monkey reading a book and a donkey asking about all of the “features.” So, so funny. I found this little trailer on youtube to show you:
If you have kids that you read to- or even if you don’t- go get this. It’s hilarious and perfect.
