Lovely Little Shelf

Blog News: I Can Get Free Stuff…

That’s right, the cheapskate in me is about to show her true colors.

I went to Shutterfly.com and found out that if I pimp them out a little bit on my blog, I can get my Christmas cards for free.  Um. Ok. I’m not above that.

This will be my first year sending Christmas cards. I figured that I would put it off as long as I could because once you get started, you’re in it for life.  If you skip a year or forget to send one to someone, people assume that you have written them off or something, and I just have not been brave enough to take on responsibility like that yet.

This year, though, I have this little feller and everyone wants to see him and about everyone I’ve ever met has asked us for his Christmas picture.  So I’m giving in.

I think that we’ve decided on this style:

Cute, right?  I’ll show you the finished card when we make it that far.

We’ve only used Shutterfly one other time- to make a mouse pad of Shaun & I.  That was 5 or 6 years ago and we’re still using it, so that should say something for Shutterfly, huh?  Or it just speaks even more loudly about how cheap I am ;)

Anyway, they have tons of fun stuff: Christmas cards of course, matching address labels, and other cute little gifts.

So that’s the end of my Shutterfly pimping.  If you are doing Christmas cards, go check them out.  If you are a blogger, you still have a couple more days to put a similar message on your blog and get 50 free cards.
