Happy Black Friday everyone! I’m waiting for my mom to get ready so we can go on our annual Friday morning shopping trip. We don’t get crazy or do the door busters or anything but it is so fun to spend time together and get a start on the Christmas season. It’s freezing today so I predict a lot of bundling to go to between the car & the stores then unbundling in the over-crowded, over-hot stores, but hey. Just one of they many joys of living in Ohio.

The question this week is: What is your favorite book cover?
Favorites are hard for me! I had about 5 come to mind right off the bat and this was one of them. The reason it won out? Not only is it beautiful, but it has a great texture too. I love when books have that “matte” type of cover. I know that’s not the right word, but you know what I mean. It’s not glossy, it’s almost gritty. That is my favorite. I can’t quit running my hand over it while I’m reading. Love it. This is just a really mysterious book and I think that the cover is perfect. I’ve seen it with a few covers, actually, and they are all equally good. Love it.
