Your summary was excellent!
I think you summed the series up really well, while avoiding spoilers.

I can not agree with you enough. I absolutely loved the series, even the more “painful” 3rd & 4th books. I think McCafferrty did such an amazing job capturing that awkward transition from adolescence to adulthood.

I was really impressed by the quality of the writing in the fifth book. Not that I didn’t enjoy the other books, but I think the third person POV let McCafferty branch out a little and get out of the teenage voice, so she was able to use vocabulary and sentence structure she otherwise couldn’t have. Plus the section when they’re drinking coffee is brilliant – it is so difficult to write like that.

Steamy sex scenes, lol, I almost considered.

I do love the covers especially Charmed.

Very nice review for a series, i’m sure that was very hard to write.
